  Experience the St. Olaf Christmas Festival, one of the oldest musical celebrations of Christmas in the United States. Led by five conductors, it features more than 500 student musicians who are members of the college’s world-renowned choirs and orchestra. The festival features a rich repertoire of classic Advent and Christmas compositions, familiar carols, global hymns, and contemporary pieces. Airs tonight, Thursday, December 24 at 9:30 p.m. on SCETV.

'American Masters: Laura Ingalls Wilder: Prairie to Page'
 
American Masters takes an unvarnished look at the unlikely author whose autobiographical fiction helped shape American ideas of the frontier and self-reliance. A Midwestern farm woman who published her first novel at age 65, Laura Ingalls Wilder transformed her frontier childhood into the best-selling “Little House” series. One of the great holiday traditions in America, the choirs of Morehouse and Spelman Colleges--two of the most prestigious historically black institutions in the nation--get together to present a spine-tingling concert program. This encore presentation features the best works of the last several years. It's a joyous celebration of the schools' traditions of singing excellence, with their trademark mixture of spirituals and carols. Korva Coleman hosts. Celebrate this season with Christmas with Morehouse and Spelman Glee Clubs on Christmas Day, December 25 at 11 a.m. on SC Public Radio News/Music stations.

Holiday specials from PBS KIDS
 
From 7 a.m. Christmas morning when you may hear the pitter patter of little feet, SCETV will be airing holiday specials starting with Nature Cat: A Nature Carol. Programs that follow include Wild Kratts, Let's Go Luna!, Cat in the Hat, Curious George and Peg+Cat. and will repeat in the afternoon. Enjoy!
